Hermes is known as one of the most luxurious and prestigious brands in the world, and their carbon fiber briefcase is a prime example of this:
The briefcase has a carbon fiber outercase and tan leather inner lining/handle. The locks are 18k gold plated, and there is also a small plate where your initials can be engraved. There are two different sizes, the larger (shown abobe) being 19″ X 14.5″ X 6″.
The briefcase has a limited production run of 500, and is priced at $16,000. Unfortunately the only place that I could find a picture or information was this eBay auction which has it priced for $10,000 new. I couldn’t find anything on the Hermes website. If anybody has or can find more pictures, please let me know.
FYI this is fake, Hermes never made anything out of carbon fiber, you can even tell as the latch which is not that used by Hermes.

Well, I don’t know if it’s real or not, but either way, I doubt anyone has that much money. If they do, they’d have to be crazy to spend it on a breifcase!
Actually Hermes does make this item or at least did back in 1988 along with a matching, slightly thicker overnight case and they were gorgeous! I went to ebay to see if I could find one. I should have bought one back then as it was about $4,400 then. This was long before the general public nd design world was aware of the beauty of carbon fibre.
