Most Bell & Ross watches are slightly out of the budget for the regular consumer…we previously wrote about their carbon fiber lineup which had watches ranging from $3,000 all the way up to $131,000! The new guy on the blog is the BR 01-92 Carbon, which was just announced and shown at Basel and covered by NotCot.
The interesting thing about the new model is that the body is actually made of compressed carbon fiber. It won’t be released until November 2009, so you won’t be able to get your hands on one until then.
The BR 01-92 line features a 46mm case, automatic movement, screw-in crown, and anti-reflection sapphire crystal glass. No word yet on pricing.
So could someone explain “compressed carbon fibre” to me? Looks like normal carbon fibre that has been cured in an autoclave. I might start using that in my marketing too.
