This chair is not your everyday chair, that’s for sure. Its futuristic and elegant style gives it a profound uniqueness. The chair is called the Light Rest Chair and its made from carbon fiber. Jordi Milà, the designer of the chair, has been in the design world for over 15 years and worked on many projects through his company EDDADESIGN.

This chair kind of reminds me of some transformer who is about to stand up and turn into a huge robot. But nonetheless, its just a chair, that can be used both indoors and outdoors. In this case the chairs structure is more unique than the use of carbon fiber aspect. The armrests play off of the two front legs and there is a sting located in the rear. The chair isn’t the designers first time using carbon fiber and hopefully not his last. A few years ago we blogged about a carbon fiber stool Jordi Milà designed that also features the three leg design, which was a challenge in the design to make work, requiring perfect distancing between points.
