Stopped by my ski shop....
Unfortunately they are still FAKE :-(
Oakley merely changed their graphic design to better mimic a &quot;true&quot; carbon fiber weave.  I guess thats why they call it &quot;true&quot; and NOT &quot;REAL&quot;. Pretty deceptive if you ask me! Especially when retail price is pushing $200!
They also offer this &quot;true&quot; finish on some sunglasses as well.  

The seemingly painted on finish is poorly done and looks cheap. It doesnt even come close to the water transfers used by Benelli on their shotguns, which can actually fool you pretty well.</description>
