Hello Everyone,
My name is Josh Richling and I am the owner of Linq designs, a metal and glass fabrication co. My website (linqdesigns.com )presently is focused on the glass as I have plenty of metal projects and do not need the advertising.
Justin brought this bike to my shop for some extensive aluminum repairs on the destroyed lower valence impacted by the street many times when it came down from wheelies (or so i was told). I rebuilt and sectioned the lower valance and changed some mounting points and added others.
This Justin was short on cash at the time so I offered my work for free in exchange for advertising as I realized how unique this bike was and it was sure to catch everyones eye. I havent heard from him since. Then I stumble upon this article. (It does appear that Justin held up his side of the bargain )
I believe Hanz contacted me by phone and I explained this to him (or at least someone who identified themselves as an employee of Oakley.) Linq Designs does not claim to have anything to do with the original design or building of this bike.
So to Hanz and Dale, you gentlemen did a spectacular job in designing and building this bike and as a designer/builder myself, my hat is off to you guys. Famous Engineer/Designer Dan Hanabrink was at my shop the week it came in even he was mesmerized by this bike.

Hey Guys, is this where the reunion is at! Im the one who fabbed the lower Aluminum valance. Hanz and Dale were gracious enough to allow me to build one for myself from his mold in exchange for my metalwork. Ironically the same has been happening to us with “our” product line by öfficials from the world drift series china no less..
Nice to see you guys. Dale! Hanz Its been a while. Still have my bike,, I love it

The work you did on that bike is phenomenal. I’m currently studying for my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, and I hope to follow in your footsteps!

Is there a Co-op program at Oakley? I need to do one to complete my Bachelors Degree. I Started this program to eventually work at Oakley! I would be willing to work for free! hehe

I HAD JUST SPENT THE LAST WEEKEND WITH HANZ AT OAKLEY HEADQUARTERS IN CALIFORNIA . HE HAD GAVE ME THE HEADS UP ON THIS AND NOW SEEING THIS IS APPALLING . HANZ IS A MASTER OF DESIGN AND WILL GO INTO HISTORY AS ONE OF MY HEROES AS WELL AS CHIP FOOSE . HE TRULY HAS BEEN RIPPED OFF AND THAT SAYING DOESN’T DO THE ACTION ANY JUSTICE THE BOY NOT EVEN A MAN JUSTIN IS A FRAUD ! HANZ JUST A LITTLE SHOUT OUT IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 10 YEARS SINCE I HAD SEEN IT LAST AND JUST SEEING IT MAKES ME DROOL STILL ! WISH I HAD KNOW WHEN YOU WERE SELLING IT I WOULD HAVE GAVE YOU DOUBLE !!! TRULY INSPIRING , THANK YOU FOR THE CREDIT ON THE OAKLEY PORSCHE PROJECT !!!
