Geoff Packer works for a specialist stair manufacturer by the name of EeStairs. Aside from doing a variety of work for them, he also designs stairs. One of his designs is a pair of amazing carbon fiber staircases that take my breath away:
He has been working in the construction industry for 10 years now, and has a degree specializing in architectural visualizations.
The spiral staircase is made with ultra thin carbon treads, stainless steel pole and handrail. Glass panels form the balustrade.

Looks great but must be fragile ! Not for normal but suppose a fat person fell of these stairs, it may break.
i would be more worried about the person falling than braking the stairs

Yes, it’s a strong material, but when it breaks, it really breaks for sure. No hesitations, it just snaps like potatochips.
Yes, I understand that they have tried the stairs before sale, but anyhow. Carbonfiberstairs, common will ya… Carbonfiber snaps like fishsticks steel bends.

Even a normal grown person (80KG) running down these stairs I would consider a risky business. How about an overweight individual, let’s just say 200KG, oh dear.

Don’t you think that maybe the weight of the individual would go into consideration when making a purchase such as this? To me it just doesn’t seem like an impulse buy…
