We understand that when you place an order from Carbon Fiber Gear, you want it as soon as possible, and we do our best to make that happen! Most in-stock orders will ship within 1-2 business days from our Maryland location. Some products are shipped from a distribution warehouse or even directly from the manufacturer, normally these still ship within 1-2 business days, but may require additional processing time. If there are any significant delays, we will notify you. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us prior to ordering and we'd be happy to tell you how quickly an item can ship.

While we try and ship any item within 1 business day of an order being placed, most orders are shipped within 1-3 days unless otherwise stated on a product page. Occasionally there are delays past this, and we will make every effort to contact you by phone and/or e-mail to notify you. If you have any concern about when an item will be shipped, please contact us prior to ordering.
Orders that contain incorrect or undeliverable shipping information, as entered by the customer, which can not be delivered by the carrier, will have the customer be responsible for additional shipping charges to complete the delivery. If there are charges for sending the item back to Carbon Fiber Gear, the additional shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
We want to reiterate again that the shipping time is based on actual transit time once an order has shippped, but does not include order processing time. For example, if you choose Next Day Air shipping, it does not necessarily mean you will get your order the next day. It will arrive next day once it has been shipped. If you need something by a specific date, please contact us prior to ordering so we can confirm when your order can ship.
Carbon Fiber Gear reserves the right to use an equivalent shipping method.
We chose to use USPS because orders typically cost less to ship, which saves you some money, they deliver on Saturday, and domestic transit time in most cases is within 2-3 business days. It also gives us the ability to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO and states like Alaska and Hawaii at a reasonable price. The tracking has even gotten a lot better, much closer to something like UPS. USPS Priority Mail is estimated 2-3 business days anywhere within the US. This is only applicable for actual transit time, and does not factor in order processing time. Occasionally during high volume times like the holidays we've seen longer delays.
USPS Priority Mail Express is an overnight service to most US locations, but is sometimes 48 hours depending on your zip code or during high-volume holiday times. This is only applicable for actual transit time, and does not factor in order processing time. Please contact us if you want to be sure when your shipment can ship out. A lot of people feel more comfortable with UPS, and that's ok. UPS deals with exact delivery timeframes, unless there are delays, we should know exactly when a package will arrive. Here's a list of the UPS shipping methods we offer when checking out:
This is the standard ground method that generally takes 1-6 business days to arrive.
Guaranteed to arrive by the end of the third business day once the item has been shipped.
Guaranteed to arrive by the end of the second business day once the item has been shipped.
The least expensive UPS next day option. Next business day delivery by 3:00 or 4:30 p.m. for a commercial address where UPS Next Day Air delivery is committed by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon, respectively. Guaranteed by end of next business day for a residential address. If you need something next day, please be sure to check with us to verify when we can actually ship it out.

To get a quote for shipping, simply add items to your shopping cart and use the shipping estimator to display your options. You do not need to register for an account to see the shipping options. At times shipping prices may need to be adjusted as our shopping cart doesn't always provide 100% accurate quotes. In these instances, we'll get in touch with you prior to charging your credit card.
While we do everything we can to ensure orders are properly packaged, occasionally an item will arrive damaged. If this happens to you, contact Carbon Fiber Gear customer service immediately. Claims are handled through the shipping carrier and unfortunately can be a time consuming process. We ask that you are understanding, and work with us to resolve any issues. We will do everything in our power to ensure you are taken care of.
We may accept backorders on certain products that are out of stock but we know we will have more arriving to us within a reasonable timeframe. Because there is typically a longer processing time waiting for the product to arrive, you will be notified of the backorder once the item is in your shopping cart. We'll typically reach out to you as well to verify the backorder and let you know when we're expecting more product. Your payment will be charged when the order is placed, this will essentially put yourself in line once the item is back in stock. If you need to cancel a backorder at any time prior to shipping, simply contact us. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to get an idea of when we're expecting the product back in stock, please drop us a line.
Certain orders may be shipped with signature required. Somebody must be there to sign for your package. If nobody is available and the package ends up being sent back to us, you will be responsible for further shipping charges. If there are issues with signing your package, please let us know prior to ordering. When packages do not require a signature, they will be left at your door or secure place at the discretion of your delivery person. A package is only insured during the shipping transit, we cannot be responsible for packages that are lost while the tracking # shows it was delivered. If this occurs, we will work with you to open an investigation with the appropriate shipping provider, but please note that this is a time consuming process and we haven't had a lot of luck locating packages.
