In May we’ll be covering a variety of carbon fiber motorcycle parts on this blog. From helmets to frame sliders, we’ll take a look at what’s out there. So if you’re a carbon fiber fan, and you ride a bike, stay tuned next month, we’ve got a lot of updates coming! For now check out these related carbon fiber motorcycle posts we’ve already made:
Carbon fiber technology is showing up everywhere, and hockey is one of those places. A new company by the name of Kynetyk Sports, LLC has come up with a great looking carbon fiber hockey stick.

There are quite a few benefits to this stick:
- Made from the lightest HTS aerospace grade carbon fiber with nano technology
- Uses solid foam core blade technology
- 3 to 1 shaft to blade weight ratio
- Shaft impact layer technology
- Corner reinforcement with Kevlar
- Heat Compression molding technology
- Taper flex shaft for optimal torque and shot response
- Sticky Grip technology
I’d like to hear from some of you hockey guys that have tried out this stick, what your thoughts are. If you’re looking to get one, the company seems to be selling direct on eBay for now. Pricing is in the $50-$150 range.

The sticks are available in left or right curve patterns, in 80 or 90 flex, and can be cut to height.
You can find more carbon fiber hockey gear in the hockey category of our store.
At Carbon Fiber Gear, we love it when we find vehicles that are completely carbon fiber, and show it…like the Koenigsegg CCX/CCXR. BMW recently unveiled their new S 1000 RR race bike, which sports quite a bit of carbon fiber body…enough to make it worthy of a post here.

The S 1000 RR features a 1000cc inline-four transversely mounted between the frame rails and an upside-down front fork. With all of the carbon fiber, the bike shouldn’t weigh very much compared to other bikes in its class. BMW has said that they will be making production versions of the bike. For now enjoy a couple more pictures:

Dynamic Composites, the same company that makes the carbon fiber toilet seat cover, also makes a pretty nifty looking carbon fiber hemispheric table:

There’s no word on pricing, but you can contact the company for more information at (780)435-0619. The table has a carbon fiber base, with a mahogany wood top. Due to the shape, I’m assuming it’s more of a coffee table type of thing versus one that you would sit at. I for one would like to see a different top that would give it a more modern look…maybe all carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, or a black marble type of material. Here’s a couple more pictures:

If you’ve got your dull gloss black PS3 just sitting there, consider giving it a sleek carbon fiber look. I found a couple of companies that offer skin kits (using vinyl decals) that allow you to give your PS3 that CF look you’ve been dying to get. Of the two, one seems like it looks a lot better:

The above kit is a 21-piece kit that covers the PS3 as well as 2 controllers.
- Easy to install with online application instructions.
- Digitally designed & cut for a very precise, PERFECT FIT.
- Will not fade, crack, peel, melt or fall off.
- Will last for years but can also be removed without damaging the surface.
- Does not cover any vent holes and will not void your warranty.
This can all be had for under $20 shipped. There are other kits that I saw, but it looked like it had a huge weave pattern, and didn’t look as realistic as this. I’d recommend taking a look at all of the offerings on eBay to see what’s available. Also, don’t forget to make sure and check out the video game section of our Carbon Fiber Gear Store.
