Carbon Fiber Gear is all about finding the coolest products like gifts, accessories, and novelty items made out of carbon fiber.

Bell & Ross was formed in 1992 to be a part of the Swiss watchmaking tradition, while also meeting the demands of men facing extreme situations. Now the likes of astronauts, pilots, divers, and bomb disposal experts use Bell & Ross watches. A few of the watches that they make offer various carbon fiber parts, which makes it appealing to us. Bell & Ross watches are a masterpiece in the making, and just as functional on your wrist. Lets take a look at a few of their carbon fiber offerings:

BR 01-94 Titanium & BR 01-94 Titanium Orange

The above watch which is the titanium orange version is a limited edition (there were only 500 made). I see them on eBay for about $7,750.

BR 01-97 Power Reserve Gold

The above BR 01-97 power reserve gold is also a limited edition watch with only 250 pieces made. I couldn’t find pricing on this one, but the stainless steel version was a little over $3,000.

BR 01 Tourbillon

This is probably my most favorite looking of all of the less Bell & Ross carbon fiber watches. This article from The Watch Quote has some really nice pictures to show off the beautiful design of the BR 01 Tourbillon. As good as it looks, it will set you back $131,000.

BR 02 Pink Gold

The BR 02 style goes away from the square faces we’ve seen above. This watch offers a decompression valve for deep sea diving, with a 300m water resistance. The watch can be had for about $20,000.

BR 03-51 GMT

Here’s another square face offering, this one has the date on it with big numbers for readability. This is also one of the cheaper carbon fiber watches they offer at about $5,000.

You’ve already got the carbon fiber toilet seat cover, but it may look a little off with a white or black toilet. There’s one easy way to fix this problem, get a carbon fiber toilet bowl! A company by the name of HeadHunter, Inc. offers one up to complete your CF toilet look…they call it the RoyalFlush:

Don’t forget to put your carbon fiber and stainless steel tissue box on top to really complete the look!

In 2002 Nike came out with the Air Jordan XVII. Priced at $200, it was the most expensive Air Jordan shoe to date. It came in a Jumpman embossed metal carrying case with the sneakers and CD with the Air Jordan XVII song. The shoes feature a carbon fiber side and were available in 4 mid top colors and 1 lowtop color.

XOX Audio Tools: The Handle Carbon Fiber Electric Guitar

The first one up is the coolest carbon fiber guitar I could find. It’s made by XOX Audio Tools, and they call the “The Handle”:

The design was done by Peter Solomon, and the guitar is being called the most revolutionary electric guitar of our time.

The entire guitar is a single body where extra material is removed. With the use of carbon fiber, the guitar cannot be broken, so don’t expect to smash it after your concert. The carbon fiber also adds a wider harmonic range and is very slim and lightweight. The first 100 guitars are a limited edition and only available through XOX Audio Tools. Expect to pay around $2,800.

Gus: G1 Ten Silver Carbon Fiber Guitar

The next guitar on the list is a very limited edition one (only 10 were made) made by Gus Guitars. This specific edition guitar is called the G1 Ten, and it was especially made to celebrate the company’s 10 year anniversary:

The guitar features a silver carbon fiber finish with a silver carbon laminated fingerboard. It also has turquoise carbon inlays and laser engraved 10th anniversary detailing with a serial number plate.

The G1 Ten also comes with a specially developed case that is a piece of art within itself. It is a form-fitting case that essentially cocoons the guitar into it:

The G1 Ten is by the most expensive on the list, coming in at about $10,000.

Rainsong WS3000 12 String & WS1000 Carbon Fiber Guitar

Acoustic guitars can also be made with carbon fiber, and the Rainsong WS3000 12-string and Rainsong WS1000 are perfect examples:

The WS3000 features an all-graphite body with no body braces. An all-graphite neck and epoxy fingerboard fabricated using RainSong’s Performance Shape Casting as a single piece and no truss rod. There is a urethane UV protectant high gloss finish as well. Since graphite is used, there is almost no dampening. You can expect to spend about $2,300 for one of these.

New Millenium Acoustic Design Carbon Fiber Mandolin

A company by the name of New Millenium Acoustic Design makes a gorgeous carbon fiber mandolin:

NewMAD went with carbon fiber because of its strength, lightweight, and durability features. Carbon fiber is not affected by temperature extremes or moisture, issues that stringed instruments are used to. NewMAD offers your natural black/gray weave, but also yellow/bloack, blue/black, red/bloack, and green/black for a really unique look.

Expect to pay between $3,500 and $6,000 for one of these.

Blackbird Rider Carbon Fiber Guitar

We’ve already featured this on our block, so head over to that post to read more about it. The guitar features a unique design, lightweight (3lbs), an all-hollow design, and a rich sound. Expect to pay about $1,600.

Miller Instruments: Superstring G6 Carbon Fiber Electric Guitar

Miller Instruments offers their Superstring G6 carbon fiber electric guitar which is more of a standard style:

It’s a two-piece guitar that gives off a very fat blue sound without using any pedals. You pick this one up for about $1,900.

If you’re a big Nissan fan, and also like the carbon fiber wallet I posted about previously, then you may really like the Nismo carbon fiber wallet (thanks MC from My350Z for the picture):

The wallet is made by Nissan Japan, features high quality leather, a carbon fiber strip through the middle, and red stitching throughout.

There are three credit card slots, a bill slot, and a coin pocket. The wallet is pretty pricey, coming in at $120…a bit more than the carbon fiber wallet I wrote about before.

You’ve already got the the carbon fiber toilet seat cover in your bathroom, it’s time to start making everything else match. You can start off with the carbon fiber/aluminum tissue box made by AUTOart:

This definitely puts any of the flowery Kleenex boxes to shame! AUTOart uses real carbon fiber and 6061 heat-treated aluminum for the box. It measures in at 11.4×5.4×4.7 inches, so it should be able to fit any standard tissue box. Each side of the box has a spring, which when unattached will allow you to access the box and place a new box of tissues in it.

This is pretty hard to find online, as I only found a couple places that had it. They were pretty much just under $100 everywhere that I found it. Tuning In Style is one of those places. For those of you who don’t know AUTOart, they make diecast model cars that are really nice quality:

A company by the name of Dynamic Composites, Inc. based out of Canada manufactures and sells a carbon fiber toilet seat cover:

A company by the name of Blackbird Rider has come out with the enthusiast version of acoustic guitar. Instead of being made out of wood, it is in fact made out of carbon fiber:

There are quite a few benefits using carbon fiber over wood:

• It’s really light. It weighs in at about 3lbs.
• It’s really strong. We all know that carbon fiber is a strong material, this allows the guitar to be dropped without breaking, and even more scratch resistant.
• It’s tiny, which also makes it portable. That means it’s easy to carry around wherever you need. It’s about 30% smaller than a normal guitar.
• It has an all-hollow design. Since the body, neck, and head are all hollow, it really gives it a rich loud sound.
• No truss rod is needed since the hollow neck is stable and stiff enough.
• From a manufacturing standpoint, it allows for a new design that cannot be done with wood.
